Bristol is an emulation package for a number of different ‘classic’ synthesizers including additive and subtractive and a few organs. The application consists of the engine, which is called Bristol, and its own GUI library called Brighton that represents all the emulations.

    1. Mixing of the external input source into filter.
    1. Noise source with white/pink switch.
  • Glide.
  • MIDI channel Up/Down selector. Memory selector.
  • Master volume control.

Bristol Voyager Moog and Voyager Moog Blue Ice are an emulation of the Minimoog Voyager monophonic analog synthesizer which are designed by Robert Moog and released in 2002 by Moog Music. The Voyager was modeled after the classic Minimoog synthesizer that was popular in the 1970s.

Features:
  • 3 x Oscillator with 4 waveforms (Triangle, Ramp, Square, Pulse).
  • 2 x Modulation Buss.
    1. Wheel Modulation: Depth is controller by mod wheel.
    1. Constant Modulation: Can use Osc-3 as second LFO to fatten sound.
  • Mixer with Gain levels for each source, noise and external input.
  • 2 x Layered resonant low-pass filter.
  • LFO. Fine tune. Glide (0 to 30 seconds).
  • ADSR Envelope Generator.
  • Glide On/Off switch. Release On/Off switch.
  • LFO switch: Single LFO or one per voice (polyphonic operation).
  • Master Volume control.

Bristol ARP Odyssey is an emulation of the ARP Odyssey analog synthesizer which introduced in 1972.

Features:
  • 2 x VCO (Voltage-controlled oscillator) with 4 waveforms (Sawtooth, Square, Pulse, Dynamic Pulse).
  • Low-pass VCF (Voltage-controlled filter) (frequency range: 16Hz to 16kHz).
  • VCA (Voltage-controlled amplifier).
  • Noise Generator (White and Pink).
  • Transpose. Pitch bend. Portamento.
  • Ring Modulator. Sample and Hold.
  • ADSR Envelope Generator.
  • AR Envelope Generator.

Bristol Memory Moog is an emulation of the Memorymoog polyphonic electronic music synthesizer which are manufactured by Moog Music from 1981 to 1983. It is the last polyphonic synthesizer to be released by Moog Music before the company was sold to management and renamed Moog Electronics.

Features:
  • 3 x Oscillator:
    1. 16′, 8′, 4′, 2′ octave settings for each oscillator.
    1. Sync 2 to 1 (oscillator 1 only).
    1. Pulse Width controls for each oscillator.
    1. 3 different Waveworms (Pulse, Sawtooth, Triangle) for each oscillator.
    1. Frequency control knob for oscillator 2 and oscillator 3.
    1. LFO and Keyboard Control (KBD) for oscillator 3.
  • Mixer which controlling three oscillators and a pink noise source.
  • VCF (Voltage-controlled filter) with Cutoff, Emphasis, Contour Amount controls and ADSR.
  • 2 Different keyboard voltage: 1/3 and 2/3.
  • VCA (Voltage-controlled amplifier).
  • Pedals section with Amount 1, Pitch, Volume, Filter controls and Amount 2, Mod Amt, Osc2 controls.
  • Programmer.
  • Pitch Bend Amound and Modulation Amount control knobs.
  • Mono Mode. Multiple Trigger (On/Off). Glide (On/Off)
  • Auto Tune. Tune.
  • Programmable, Headphone (AUX) and Master Volume controls.

Bristol ARP Axxe is an emulation of the ARP Axxe single oscillator analog synthesizer, created by ARP during the 1970s.

Features:
  • VCO (Voltage-controlled oscillator) with 4 waveforms (Sawtooth, Square, Pulse, Dynamic Pulse).
  • VCF (Voltage-controlled filter) with Resonance, Frequency, ADSR sweep, LFO Modulation controls.
  • VCA (Voltage-controlled amplifier).
  • ADSR Envelope Generator.
  • LFO with 2 waveforms (Sine, Square).
  • Noise Generator (Pink and White).
  • Transpose switch (Down, Normal, Up).
  • Sample and Hold.

Bristol ARP Solina String Ensemble is an emulation of the ARP String Ensemble. The sounds it incorporates are violin, viola, trumpet, horn, cello and contrabass. The keyboard uses ‘organ style’ divide-down technology to make it polyphonic. The built-in chorus effect gives the instrument its famous sound.

Features:
  • Bass section with 2 waveforms.
  • String section with 4 Waveforms.
  • AR Envelope Generator.
  • Chorus (On/Off).
  • 10 memories (memories being saved with a doubleclick on the orange key).
  • MIDI channel Up/Down changer.

Bristol ARP 2600 is an emulation of the ARP 2600 semi-modular analog subtractive audio synthesizer, designed by Alan R. Pearlman and Dennis Colin, and manufactured by his company, ARP Instruments, Inc.

Features:
  • 3 x VCO (Voltage-controlled oscillator). Oscillators may be audible or LFO.
  • 1 x LFO for general purposes.
  • 2 x Envelope generator (ADSR, AR).
  • VCA (Voltage-controlled amplifier).
  • VCF (Voltage-controlled filter).
  • Noise Generator (Pink and White) with On/Off switch.
  • Input modulation. General voltage modulations.
  • Chorus. Delay.
  • Sample and Hold.
  • Global Volume control.

Bristol Mono/Poly is an emulation of the Korg Monopoly analog monophonic/polyphonic synthesizer. The Monopoly was produced between 1982 and 1984.

Features:
  • 4 x VCO with 4 waveforms (Sine, Sawtooth, Pulse Width and Pulse Width Modulation). Each VCO has its own level and tune control.

  • 2 x Modulation wheel: Bend, MG1 (Mod Group 1).
  • 3 Main effects: Vibrato, Crossmodulated Frequency and Oscillator Synchronisation.
  • 3 Hold funcion modes:
    1. Mono: First 4 keypresses are memorised, futher notes are then chorded together monophonically.
    1. Poly: Notes are argeggiated in sequence, new note presses are appended to the chain. Arpeggiation is up, down or up/down.
    1. Share: First 4 notes are memorised and are thien argeggiated in sequence, new note presses will transpose the arpeggiation. Stepping is up, down or up/down.
  • Trigger:
    1. Single: Trigger once until last key release.
    1. Multi: Trigger for each key or arpeggiator step.
